The flirtation had peaked, interest was confirmed, a first date was set. Through her living room window she saw him pull up outside her house at 7:30pm - right on time.
Five minutes passed.
Then ten.............................he had still not knocked on her door....................................at fifteen minutes she was perplexed and somewhat steamed. She could see out of her window he was talking on his cell phone, still in his car.
Finally at 8:10pm she walked out of her front door, up to his car and knocked on his window. She politely thanked him for his time saying she had errands to run.
She left.
Note to male readers : Being punctual is greatly appreciated on a first date, however you need to do more than turn up at the longitudinal and latitudinal coordinates - you actually need to make an appearance.
